University Enrollment Services

University Enrollment Services (UES) is a University-wide functional group supporting financial services, registrar, and admissions activities across the university. Services include the following:

Financial Services

  • All student packaging
  • Automated and manual repackaging
  • Data custodianship of academic records
  • Facilitation of internal and external audits
  • Federal and student aid reporting (internal and external)
  • Federal verifications
  • Loan origination, disbursement, and associated reporting and reconciliation (both automated and manual)
  • Management of all central financial aid systems (OSFP, FAMS, Banner, ImageNow, FWSP Online)
  • Packaging of special programs (RFS, BTG, RUN)
  • Reconciliations of federal, state, and institutional programs
  • Rutgers Assistance Grant (RAG)
  • Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) compliance and policy management
  • State verifications
  • Student notification of financial aid package and status
  • Title IV & Title VII compliance management
  • University oversight of federal employment programs
  • University oversight of financial aid compliance

Registrar

  • All Degree Verifications through NSC
  • All FERPA compliance and processing
  • Approving all student data access requests
  • Enrollment reporting compliance within NSC and NSLDS
  • Ensuring compliance and consistency with University Residency Policy
  • Maintenance of transcript ordering system
  • Maintenance of web applications (Web Registration, REGIS Roster, online grade change system, re-enrollment, and school to school, transcript and grades system)
  • Production of all University diplomas
  • Production of all University transcripts
  • Responsible for annual Institutional statistical reporting and for responding to daily data reporting requests
  • Responsible for maintenance of student records database
  • Serve as data steward for all student records
  • Working with campus registrars and faculty to ensure compliance with all University student record policies, including but not limited to, grading, registration, degree certification, curriculum program approvals, etc.

Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions

  • Applicants include international, domestic, non-degree, degree, and online programs
  • Design and produce University-wide admissions communications
  • Liaison to the graduate program and other graduate cohorts both internal and external to Rutgers.
  • Processes annually over 65,000 admission applications and supporting credentials undergraduate applicants across the University
  • Process approximately 17,000 applications each admission cycle.
  • Provides support to applicants, students, and prospective students University-wide
  • Provides support to the Graduate Camden and Newark Admissions Offices.
  • Reconcile all final high school academic transcripts
  • Responsible for the administration of over 145 graduate programs for 8 graduate schools in New Brunswick
