Forms & Documents
After completing the FAFSA, additional documentation may be requested to verify the student’s information. You will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader to complete these forms.
2022-2023 Forms and Documents
If you receive an email notification regarding required documentation that you need to submit for your 2022-2023 financial aid, please follow the instructions below to log in and view/upload your documents
- Activate your NetID, if you have not already done so.
- Log in to the myRutgers dashboard with your NetID and password.
- Locate the My Financial Aid widget
- Go to the Documents tab within the widget and click the Requested button next to any document listed, which will bring you to the Financial Aid Student Portal.
- Click the Documents tab on the top menu to view and submit/upload all required documentation.
- Please pay close attention to the Owner column which will indicate whether the information requested is yours (Student) or the parent(s)/guardian(s) (Parent) whose information is on your FAFSA.
- If your parent/guardian needs to submit documentation, you must grant them authorization to the myGuest Dashboard to view your financial aid information in the portal. Parents/guardians will then be able to set up their CommunityID, which they will use to log in.

Continuing students please note: A new Financial Aid system was recently introduced for the 2022-2023 academic year. Upon logging in to the portal, you may notice that the document upload process and interface has changed. You can find helpful information regarding the new process on the Portal Library webpage.

- Satisfactory Academic Progress – Appeal for Financial Aid Probation
- Complete this form only if you received notification that you are not meeting satisfactory academic progress.
- Change in Family Circumstances
- If your circumstances have significantly changed since you filed the FAFSA, you may be able to appeal for more aid.
- Graduate PLUS Loan Increase Form
- If you received a Graduate PLUS loan for 2021-22, and would like to request an increase, complete this form.
- Undergraduate/Parent PLUS Loan Increase Form
- If you received a Parent PLUS loan for 2021-22, and would like to request an increase, complete this form.
- Petition for Dependency Override
- If you feel that you have unusual circumstances that need to be considered when determining your dependency status, you may submit a request for dependency override.
- Summer 2022 Aid Application
- If you are taking classes in summer 2022, you may be eligible to apply for financial aid.
2020-2021
