Important:

Due to changes required under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), the U.S. Department of Education will implement system updates beginning April 26, 2026. As a result, colleges and universities nationwide will experience a temporary pause in their ability to receive and process 2026–2027 FAFSA information.

Students who submit the FAFSA on or after April 26, 2026, should expect delays in receiving their 2026–2027 financial aid package. In addition, students who add Rutgers as a school on their FAFSA on or after this date may also experience delays.

View Your Financial Aid

To view your Rutgers Financial Aid Award details in the Financial Aid Student Portal:

    • Activate your NetID, if you have not already done so.
    • Log in to the myRutgers dashboard with your NetID and password.
    • Locate the My Financial Aid widget.
    • Go to the Award tab within the widget and click Award Detail and Information, which will bring you to the Financial Aid Student Portal.
    • Click the Financial tab on the top menu to view the full details of your Financial Aid Awards.
    • You will be notified via email if you are required to submit additional documentation.
